Therapy for everything carried quietlyeverything carried quietly, the things left unsaid, anxious, restless days, love that feels distant, beginning again, finding your voice, wanting to feel heard, the weight of being strong, old patterns, new choices, healing at your own pace, learning to rest, coming home to yourself, grief that has no words, quieting the inner critic, honouring how you survived
I'm Sarah Fahmi, a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), MEd. I work with adults and couples — collaboratively, compassionately, and with cultural sensitivity.

When I'm not in session, you'll probably find me baking something sweet or getting lost in a new TV show or movie. I love exploring different genres and sharing recommendations with friends.
Growth begins when we honour the ways we survived — and give ourselves permission to learn a new way forward.
I was drawn to become a therapist after realizing how many people struggle in silence — often carrying their worries alone because they don't have a space where they can be fully seen and understood. Therapy is a collaborative process where we work together to understand patterns, uncover meaning, and create new ways of approaching life's challenges.
In my work, I've seen how much unspoken emotion exists within relationships, and how therapy can help people find their voice again — leading to more authentic, connected and compassionate relationships with others and with themselves.
I hold a master's degree in counselling and psychotherapy and have experience supporting clients from diverse backgrounds through both individual and relational work. I integrate Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) and psychodynamic approaches to meet each client's unique needs.
How we'd work together — in plain language.
CBT
Thoughts, feelings & behaviour
“We trace how a thought shapes a feeling, and how that feeling shapes what you do next — then work on that chain together.”
For anxiety, self-criticism and looping stress.
EFT
Primary & secondary emotion
“Anger is often the emotion we show; hurt or fear is usually the one underneath — we learn to tell them apart and speak from the deeper one.”
For couples and rebuilding closeness.
IPT
Relationships & transitions
“So much of how we feel is shaped by the people around us — and change, even the good kind, can be genuinely hard.”
For transitions, grief and family conflict.
Psychodynamic
Patterns & origins
“We follow the pattern back to where it was learned — and see what it was protecting you from.”
For old patterns, identity and self-esteem.
50–90 min
